Card(s) of the Week #64 ---- Heroes Part 2: No One Cared Who I was Until I Put on the Mask
Well, "tomorrow" became one week because devpro was too slow updating cards. but alas, here they are:
What a way to start. This is pretty much the "screw you, you can't do anything" card. First a macro only for the opponent. Let's see, this card stops:
shadolls
LS
plants
Wyrms
Infernities
Dragon rulers
Bujins (try pitching honest now mwhahaha)
.... The list goes on and on
Just from the first effect, this card is insta staple in almost all hero decks. But it gets better. The second effect can screw the opponent even more.
Opp uses any search card/draw card > You chain mask change and bring out dark law > say bye bye to their potential combos

Our light masked hero. The effect means this card is virtually invulnerable to battle. Good synergy with voltic and shining. However it's not that useful since most of the time you want to keep alius alive to either use super poly or gemini spark. All in all, useful card to have in case you didn't draw poly or spark.
A better version of nova master. But too bad it's so hard to get out. With stratos banned, we have no good wind targets for mask change. So this card will only be run when form change is around. Even then it is pretty situational.
As you can see, dark law obviously has the better effect, but the other masked heroes are very useful as well.
