Card(s) of the Week #63 ---- Heroes Part 1: Jaeger

Welcome to my 3 part hero special where the craziest theorycrafting happen

So, when stratos was banned, heroes were beaten by pretty much every single deck out there. But now with the new structure deck the hunted shall become the hunter.



Our new stratos, not only for heroes but for change spells as well. Both effects are if .... you can, so they can't miss the timing. Therefore you guessed it, this card + super poly = no minus. Super poly just became even more insane. Now it is a 1 for 1 monster removal that can't be stopped and it gives you a giant fusion monster at the end. What more could you ask for.
Also, this card turns foolish burial/Armageddon knight/dark grepher (basically any card that dumps from the deck) in to pseudo stratos.

With the hero searching effect out of the way, let's take a look at the possible change spell cards shadow mist can search out:

The most likely card is probably mask change, but we are going to get two more change cards in the structure deck:



Remember the frustration when your shining got bottomless'd or d prison'd or compuls'd?
With this card you can pull out any level 8 masked hero to react to the situation:
Say your opponent has a bunch of backrow, pull out an acid and punish the opponent in to oblivion. Since form change is chained to the trap card, the summoning of the masked hero is during the resolution of the chain so no additional torrential/bottomless can be used, pretty much guaranteeing the masked hero staying alive.

For our second change card (second? get it?.... bad pun is bad)



Huge minus card so it's usually not used, but since this card can turn any monster in to masked hero, it's pretty useful in graveyard centred decks. i.e. shadolls (the sending faceup monster is an effect so shadolls get their effects off)

Final card of the day is our mask change recycling card



Basically a one card masked hero. Nothing much to say. It's fusion recovery but for masked heroes.
